Excellent post! The proponents of global warming know all too well how to manipulate a few facts in order to convince the gullible among us that we must change our way of life if we are to survive as a species. What they fail to understand - or choose to ingnore - is that the only way for any of us to truly "survive" is to accept the Lord Jesus Christ as our personal Saviour. Each and every member of the human race will eventually find himself or herself spending eternity in one of two places: Heaven or hell. There is no alternative.

All of this global warming hysteria, even if it eventually turns out to be true (which I seriously doubt), pales in comparison with the need to protect one's soul from eternal "warming" in the bowels of a literal lake of fire.

you know i'm so not into politics or have any concrete knowledge about the bigger picture...but i totally get what you're saying about living in a fallen world and couldn't NOT agree more with the last part of what you said..."...the fallen world will always have its problems and doing the most good for the most people isn't always the same as doing what makes you feel good."

I agree. I couldn't possibly agree more, and it's refreshing to find a an honest and coherent post about this. Is Global Warming happening? Maybe. They say they have data proving it, and maybe they do. But does it follow that Man has caused the global increase in temperature, or has the power to stop it if we deem it beneficial to us? Not necessarily. Being responsible is one thing, being arrogant is another thing entirely. In this whole political movement, I see a lot of arrogance at play. That, outside of religious conviction about the balance of control of the world, would be enough to give me pause.

But again, this is the secular mentality. This world is all they have. It must be a terrifying existence to have nothing else.
