CNH Convention Observations – Clerical Collar or Hawaiian Shirt

by Brian Yamabe on May 15, 2009

Almost every pastor I met today was either wearing a clerical collar or a Hawaiian shirt. There did seem to be an associated theological leaning. Maybe “Clerical vs. Hawaiian” is the new “Red vs. Blue?”

I am really enjoying your site. I may publish a few of your posts on the BJS website.

Aren’t liberal district conventions frutrating and annoying.

Pastor Rossow, you’re welcome to publish any posts that the BJS readers might find interesting.

Honestly, I didn’t know it was going to be as bad as it was (I was a first-timer). Is the national convention better or worse? My pastor is going to nominate me because the previous layman was from a liberal congregation and he thinks he get confessionals for both delegates from our circuit.
